Dsc_0895_smallHere’s my last sneak for the May Release! Tomorrow, May 1st, be sure to head on over to the A Muse blog to see all the new stuff… there’s more than just stamps 😉

What ‘cha think about this card? It has two new stamps in it!

I hope you have enjoyed all the sneaks. Be sure to check out the rest of the A Muse Crew … there are lots of sneaks out there!

Happy Wednesday!

My email subscriptions weren’t working here on my new blog! Yikes! But it’s all fixed now. So, if you are interested in getting emails whenever I post something, put your email address in there over on the right!

Sneak Peek 4 – May Release

Dsc_0896_smallDay four of the sneaks! These new images will be available from A Muse on May 1st. Be sure to check it out.

Okay, so the image I used on Day 2 with the shirt and "DAD" are from a new clear set, called Mainly Men. This laptop is part of that set. This will be SO USEFUL in my household. Being a former engineer, DH still is an engineer… (and we’re both computer/electrical engineers), most of our friends are engineers! Come to think of it… most of our families are too. Hmm. Well, I wanted to show that GIRLS use computers too! And I know a couple of friends of mine would actually get a kick out this card…

It’s so perfect for my "men". 😉 Maybe you’ll see what I’m talking about on some other sneaks today… if not, I’ll have another one soon!

Happy Sunday and thanks for looking!

Sunday, Monday, Happy Days.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Happy Days.
Thursday, Friday, Happy Days.
Saturday, What a day,
Groovin’ all week with you.

For a good portion of the 80s, I had posters and posters and posters of one Chachi (aka Scott Baio). Oh my. I actually can’t believe it now that I did that then.

So, what am I rambling about…. well the secret is revealed… We are delighted that the A Muse Guru, herself, Linda, founder of A Muse Artstamps is our hostess for our BONUS round! THANKS LINDA!!!Dsc_0901_small

Linda’s challenge is very cool: the word "Weekend" – make something based on your interpretation of that word. How does "weekend" inspire you?

I had a couple of ideas/thoughts about this when I was doing the challenge. Some of them were too complicated to pull off. Then I thought about it a bit more. We’ve started a "tradition" in my house…
Friday nights are movie nights. You know, PJs, comfy throws, 2 boys and me and DH. It’s just wind down time around here from a week of busy, busy, busy. And I don’t have to cook! We usually order in or go out before movie night. Anyway, I *love* the thought of being in comfy pjs and snuggling with my 3 boys (DH included ;)). So here’s my simple card that shouts weekend to me!

If only I could sleep IN in my comfy pjs on the weekend! LOL!

Thanks again, Linda for playing along with us and hosting a great bonus round. AND thanks for the prizes for VMAA! You ROCK!

Thanks everyone for such a fun night. I hope you had a great time. Don’t forget to check out everyone’s blogs for their challenges. Leave them a comment too… I know they’ll appreciate it!

VMAA: “Saturday Night Fever”

Wowza… what a career John Travolta has had, eh? And he’s a pilot, husband, and dad, too. Well… remember him in Saturday Night Fever? Remember how he came out at the end of the movie on to the dance floor wearing his white suit with a black shirt?

Well, that brings us to Jennie‘s challenge: Black and White ONLY… no color whatsoever!

Here is my card for her challenge. I just got the skunk stamp a few weeks ago because of this card by Kim Linley. And it seemed like the perfect image for a black and white card!

Are you having fun with these challenges tonight? I certainly enjoyed making my samples up!
