One of the things I love about A Muse is their support of charities! Today is the day that A Muse launches the 2008-2009 Calendars! This year, the proceeds from these calendars will go to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in honor of my fellow A Muse Addict, Victoria Nelson! Victoria is undergoing treatment for Hodgkin’s Disease, a specialized cancer of the lymphatic system that represents about 11 percent of all lymphomas diagnosed in America this year.
A Muse has expanded their calendar offering from last year to give you more options! There are three different versions of the A Muse 2008-2009 Calendar available:
- Square format (designed to work with A Muse square notecards)
- A2 format (this size is perfect for all sorts of projects and fits well inside CD Calendar cases)
- 4-Bar format (this
size was designed by ME! :))
All versions of the A Muse Calendar include 16 months (Sept. 2008 – Dec. 2009). They also include a perpetual calendar which is great for keeping track of birthdays and anniversaries.
There are THREE donation levels
per calendar. The minimum donation is $4 per calendar, but, there is
also an option to donate $10 or $20 for each version. And, to top it
all off, A Muse will match your generosity, dollar for dollar, for ALL
calendar purchases through Sunday, September 21st. So, be sure to
visit the A Muse website and choose a calendar TODAY!
Be sure to check out the A Muse News blog today… lots of links to more inspiring calendars! Not only did the A Muse crew participate in this event, we have some very special guests helping us out… including my dear friend, and former SU! upline, Jenn Balcer!!!
Okay, on to my projects:
1.) School Calendar Placemat for my 6 year-old
Laminated and durable (still has the one from last year that I made and it’s holding up really well and makes clean up easy – not to mention he knows what day it is!)
2.) Calendar Book with important dates:
