amuse-bouche – You are in my thoughts

DSC_0622 copy (Small)This card is actually very soft IRL. I was going for the comforting look using Pink Chiffon and Sage card stock.

The new stamps here are the branch and sentiment. But the branch has the leaves mounted separately on the side of the wood block. I *love* that kind of versatility.

More amuse-bouche coming up this weekend! Happy Friday!

amuse-bouche – Have a beautiful day!

And the birthday party continues!DSC_0620

Can you say new stamps??? YAY! And they are all SO pretty…

Would you look at this ginormous Marigold? Lots of coloring – YAY! Coloring is therapeutic to me, how about you?

And guess what I think about the fonts on the new sentiments… BEAUTIFUL!

Have you seen the A Muse News? There are many ways to wins some grand prizes over there. Check it out! I hope you had a chance to check out the muses, as well. They're work is always an inspiration to me!

Stay tuned for more amuse-bouche tomorrow!

amuse-bouche – Happy!

Happy what? Happy EVERYTHING!  But especially HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO A MUSE.

The new HAPPY clear set is a keeper! It is so versatile. In fact, I think I'll be using it a lot this month for various projects! And of course, I simply love the fonts!

Happy Birthday A Muse!

amuse-bouche – Vintage Set

YAHOO! It is time to get this party started (okay, so the party started already over on the A Muse blog) – but better late than never!

A Muse is turning NINE in a few days and we're all celebrating! New stamps, new cards, new inspiration… Old stamps, too. WHAT? Old stamps???? YES! Some previously retired stamps have been brought back for this party, all together on a VINTAGE SET. There are some on this set that were pre-me (meaning before I found A Muse) so I'm so excited to use them!

I really like this bicycle and sentiment. Again, A Muse sentiments are awesome…

Cinema Saturday Challenge: Oklahoma!

CSCC#75 -
OklahomaThis week's Cinema Saturday Challenge is OKLAHOMA!

For this week's challenge all you have to do
is to create a card, layout, altered project, etc. that is inspired by
the movie:
The inspiration can
come from the costumes, the dialogue, the music, the themes, the
characters – anything at all from the movie!! **** The
for this movie is to use a little gingham in
your creation!

Here is my card for this week's challenge. My first thought when I saw this challenge was about A Muse's Calamity Jane stamp!
DSC_0203 (Small) Isn't she cute? And she's a little bit sparkly!

I'm glad I got a chance to play along this week.

All products by A Muse Artstamps.

Cinema Saturday Challenge

My buddy, Libby, plays along in this challenge every so often. Every time she has, I think I wanna try that challenge and never get to. BUT this time I made it work! This challenge is right up my alley… movies and stamping! WOHOO!CSCC#74 - UP

Okay, so I just checked the challenge website and they already have the latest one posted… well it is  called Cinema SATURDAY. So, I guess I did last week's. LOL.

DSC_0554 copy (Small) This week's Saturday Cinema challenge features the movie, UP by Pixar. We've seen this movie our fair share in my house.

Challenge Requirement: must use balloons!

Mandy with balloons is perfect with the new clouds paper by A Muse, isn't it?

I tried a new product on here… It's called DG3. It is an Art Gel and made by Judikins. It's another version of the Diamond Glaze (DG) product but claims to dry faster. I think it does. I didn't time it or anything but it seems quicker than the Diamond Glaze stuff.

I'm glad I got to play along.

Have a great weekend!
